Informix licensing

Dear Informix users Just a clarification on the licensing issue of Informix products. We have a site that need to do development using Microsoft Visual Basic to an Informix server. Could we use purchase the runtime products of Informix and use it for development of our Microsoft VB applications? Is this legal? Eg. Informix DSA 7.1 runtime license 5-usr license Informix Net for Windows 5.0x runtime license 1-usr license Microsoft Visual Basic Our local Informix office only sell minimum licenses of 5-usr for any Informix products.
