Hi, Thx for your anwser, I'll try to be a bit more clear. The Data type of the date is DATE. The data are in the table displayed with the format MM/DD/YYYY. Date are stored as integer (Informix support). I think DBDATE is not recognize or not known by the engine, so it doesn't convert the date to a proper state to be stored in the DB. Hi Joseph, After installing Informix Client you have to set the "Setnet" environments. Set DBDATE = MDY4/ FYI - Powerbuilder reads the env. from the win.ini not the registry!! C/YA
