VLDBs

Without revealing any company sensitive information, can anyone say if they are using a VLDB (>10TB) and what the transaction throughput is per minute. A client is sceptical about Informix being able to cope. I am on 9.40.FC8X3 at the moment but will be going to 10.00.FC8 soon.
