Motif Development Environ

Could someone out there recommend a development environment for the Motif world. I've heard SmallTalk and others mentioned, but how do they work with Informix??? We have New Era for Motif and it is a dog and a little buggy. Want some tools that make screen generation easy with (Wish) some built in controls that do simple stuff like insert records etc. Trying to avoid Informix's run time licensing policies. Doubled swap and fixed it. We were taking away swap because it wasnt previously being reserved to make room for some larger logical volumes. This is obviously not a good practice. We will probably add a new disk at some point. Thanks again.
