Hi Lin-Chaun,
Looking at the finderr 534 message jogged my memory...
-534 Cannot open EXPLAIN output file.
The statement SET EXPLAIN ON has been executed and the database server is
trying to open the file sqexplain.out in the current working directory. An
operating system error of some kind prevents it. See the ISAM error code for
more information. Look for operating system error messages that may give
more detail. Likely problems include a lack of write permissions in the
current directory and a full disk.
I had a similar problem and I discovered that despite what the manual says it
doesn't always write the file in the "current working directory".
Have you checked to see if the file already exists on the server but just has
the wrong file permissions set. I usually look for it using this command...
find / -name sqexplain.out -print 2> /dev/null
