I wonder how much 4Js paid Stuart to push out an invite to their 4GL training since they are the 'future' of 4GL? (What ever happened to Mike's open source release?) C'mon. tell me I'm not the only one to get it.

Interesting also to see that Gary has had "corrective therapy" since he ranted in IIUG Insider last month to IBM about it's lack of support for Informix. This month he is very positive about IBM and Informix. Strong Kool-Aid!
LOL! Yeah. The 'strong cool aid' is that they are being told things that require an NDA, or they get a strong scolding that having a negative attitude is bad. The funny thing is that one of DB2's new features... the column data type. (Note: Column databases are non-relational, ala 'NoSQL' databases like HBase, CouchDB, etc ...) This could have gone in to IDS much easier and then have a nice access from IDS in to the cloud. But IBM... that's DB2 space. DB2 first, and if it fails, then mention IDS. > From: de_stomerij@yahoo.com > Subject: Re: IIUG now pimping 4Js? > Date: Sun, 7 Nov 2010 16:07:14 -0800 > To: informix-list@iiug.org > > On Nov 4, 2:56 pm, Ian Michael Gumby <im_gu...@hotmail.com> wrote: > > I wonder how much 4Js paid Stuart to push out an invite to their 4GL training since they are the 'future' of 4GL? > > (What ever happened to Mike's open source release?) > > > > C'mon. tell me I'm not the only one to get it. > > Interesting also to see that Gary has had "corrective therapy" since > he ranted in IIUG Insider last month to IBM about it's lack of support > for Informix. > > This month he is very positive about IBM and Informix. > > Strong Kool-Aid! > _______________________________________________ > Informix-list mailing list > Informix-list@iiug.org > http://www.iiug.org/mailman/listinfo/informix-list
