how do you convert from hex to integer using SQL ?

Hi, i need to conv from Hex to Integer can this be done using SQL with Informix ?? ie select integer(hex_data_column) from mytable thanks, DSE

There's a HEX() function, but no inverse to it. You'll have to write one in SPL (or in C or Java if you have IDS 9.xx). Art S. Kagel
