Hello people Has anyone used the cdr suspend command or cdr suspend replicate without any problems. I have neer used it but see the need to now. Seems straight forward however many seemingly straight forward things aint so !
If you suspend the replicate, then that will cause any replicated transactions containing that replicated table to be 'split'. Part of t= he transaction will be applied now and part will be later. That can cause= issues during the apply if you are using referential integrity. Suspend server simply blocks the transmission of all data to that serve= r, but will not split the updates of the replicated transactions into piec= es. = From: "KARL OLIVER" <karl.oliver@maf.govt.nz> = = To: ids@iiug.org = = Date: 05/01/2012 10:25 PM = = Subject: enterprise replication cdr suspend [26907] = = Sent by: ids-bounces@iiug.org = = Hello people Has anyone used the cdr suspend command or cdr suspend replicate withou= t any problems.
