We just need to make > this so > it will not crash the entire system. > > > Thanks in advance. > Bryan > Bryan, Here's what we do to get around "the tape not mounted" problem. $INFORMIXDIR/bin/tbtape -s << EOF | head -150 0 EOF The "head" command stops tbtape if the output reaches 150 lines. Make sure that the "number of lines" argument you provide is big enough to handle the normal output of your archive process. This should be available on SCO (we are running Solaris).
