When I use GNORPM to install the .rpm file, It report me "execute script error". But I install it on RedHat 5.1 successfully. Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Share what you know. Learn what you don't.
have you tried using rpm from the UNIX command line... if not, have a go. If you get the same error, then maybe it's due to the patch you are applying to the inital version of informix that was released for Redhat. You'll need to rpm install the initial version of IDS7.3 and then apply the patch (which fixes the Net VP core dump) before you actually install the engine. If you rpm -ivh then install the engine and attempt to install the patch you'll get a script error. It also may be related to permissions on the file, or check to see if it's ok with the rpm option. rpm -K --nopgp IDS.rpm if it reports OK then the file is fine...otherwise download it again. <jiang1715@my-deja.com> wrote in message news:7m7kpg$6rf$1@nnrp1.deja.com... > When I use GNORPM to install the .rpm file, > It report me "execute script error". > But I install it on RedHat 5.1 successfully. > > > Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ > Share what you know.
