upgrade problem

I recently upgraded a server from to 12.10tc2 from 11.70c3 (on windows server 2008 R2) . Since then I see errors in the online log continuously such as this: 13:00:48 SCHAPI: [mon_iohistory 41-1] Error -206 The specified table (sysmaster:sysiohistory) is not in the database. 13:00:48 SCHAPI: [mon_iohistory 41-1] Error -111 ISAM error: no record found. 13:00:50 SCHAPI: [mon_chunk 40-1] Error -206 The specified table (sysmaster:syschktab_fast) is not in the database. 13:00:50 SCHAPI: [mon_chunk 40-1] Error -111 ISAM error: no record found. 14:00:43 SCHAPI: [mon_chunk 40-2] Error -206 The specified table (sysmaster:syschktab_fast) is not in the database. 14:00:43 SCHAPI: [mon_chunk 40-2] Error -111 ISAM error: no record found. I believe this stems from sysmaster not getting updated properly. That started when coming from ids9.4 to ids11.70 . There seems to be a permissions violation in buildsmi.bat . This happens even when logged in as Informix. Specifically, the buildsmi.out file gets this: Database selected. load from 'C:\\\\Informix\\\\etc\\\\sysextspaces.unl' insert into sysextspaces;275: The Insert privilege is required for this operation. 275: The Insert privilege is required for this operation. Error in line 1Near character position 72 Database closed. "The reload of sysmaster failed." "See C:\\\\Informix\\\\etc\\\\buildsmi.out for more information." "The reload of sysmaster after upgrade failed" I have logged in as Informix and run oninit after shutting down the engine. The result is always the same. Any idea how to get sysmaster to rebuild ?
