Logical-log backup strategy

Hello. I'd like to backup my logical logs to disk. I'm thinking of using ontape for backups and it also looks desirable to do continuous logical-log backups. Is continuous backup to disk doable? Would it be better to just mirror the volume where the backup files would go?
