Two Biggies- Informix Net ?? and Update stats question

Hello all! Haven't had to write in a while but I'm hoping that NetWisdom will come through for me here! ;-) First: We have a system that uses Informix 5.01 on a Tandem FT (fault tolerant) UNIX box. It is also using the "net" client/server comms package from Informix. A customer, using an HP box, wants to use Informix 6.0 "net" to interface to a 5.01 On-Line server and "net". Can this be done? Has anyone done/tried this? Personally, in theory, I don't see a problem but any and all responses are greatly appreciated! Second: Our product, an expert based management system, uses Informix for the MIB storage. Because the MIB is in a constant state of flux, so is the contents of the database. Problem: A customer wants a report run on-demand that will notify what updates have been made to the database since it was loaded and wants a time/date stamp and the informix user! What should I do for a quick fix?!? Any NetWisdom in the forms of responses would be greatly appreciated! Sincerely, Matt Silveira System Engineer OSI
