Re: Interrupting a scripted sql call seizes all swap and won't

Peter,
On one system
INFORMIX-OnLine Version 7.12.UC1
OSF1 V3.2
We've had similar problems .. dbaccess
from scripts somehow go crazy and start
building these hundred Meg core images..
eventually leading to running out
of swap space ... If caught, we are
able to kill -9 the process. The problem
is that it's been nearly impossible
to re-create the problem in a 'scientific'
manner and see what the hell is going on.
ALL the scripts ran fine on another
machine ( IFMX 7.10.? on HP-UX 9.X )
Please forward anything you find out.
