I am currently having this problem with out HP-UX B.11.23 U ia64 rx4640 Number of CPUs = 4 Memory = 8183 MB (7.991211 GB) Error: 23:08:20 Logical Log 124192 - Backup Completed 23:09:30 VP Notify mechanism incomplete after 5 minutes. This can be due to slow network file access. Will try 10 more times Software: Informix Dynamic Server Version 10.00.FC7 The system crashed and had to be reboot to come back on line. We have tried to resolve through IBM and they claim it is a hardward problem. However we have had no hardware issues prior or since this incident. IBM has a solution is you are using a Solaris box, but nothing regarding HP-UX. Anyone know of a solution to this issue. Thanks, Danette
