Any Way to Capture SQL Statement Statistics?

Hi, Does anyone know a way that you can capture the number of SQL statements that is executed in an online instance? What I'm looking for is the number of select, update, insert, and delete statements executed in a given time period. I know that the SMI tables as well as onstat -p gives somewhat of a profile on this information, but it doesit on a row by row basis at the RSAM level. What I need is at the SQL statement level.
