Hi guys! Does anybody know where can I find some presentation that explain the steps to reduce network traffic between client/server? I've seen once, in 2007 presented by Vlaunir Silva (IBM US) at IBM Brasil on a Informix Workshop. He showed how to reduce the network traffic and get the evidences before and after changes he made. There was very good presentation by Guy Bowerman at IIUG Eu in Vienna (2006) http://www.idug.org/conferences/EU2006/data/EU06I06.pdf It is not only network related but there are couple of good tricks for optimizing network communication.
