Re: updating informix

I was in the process of upgrading a large application to 4GL 4.1 when I discovered that most of the display screens were getting fouled up. In 4.1, when returning from a lookup screen where a selection was made and the information was used to populate fields, the ring menu line would be displayed beginning at the upper left hand corner of where the lookup screen was. This occurred in nearly every instance where a lookup screen was used. If a small window was used for displaying warning messages (near the bottom of the screen) it would cause the ring menu to become skewed. I have reported this to Informix and it has been logged as a bug. In the meantime, I had to abort plans to upgrade and have remained on 4.0. There are, no doubt, ways of working around the problem, but the number of screens affected was so large, I decided to wait. Has anyone else noticed this problem?
