Your highly valued advise becomes more clear reading the following points. 1) QueriX Compiler is a 4GL Compiler, with a much more rigorous syntax checking than Informix, also there are many debugging facilities from source code level to data exchange between the application and the database. As such it would definitely help pin- pointing out why an application written in Informix 4GL may behave erratically, when compiled under Informix. 2) This problem, here to which you have responded is to do with the Database, or & the operating system (assuming the hardware in question is faultless.) Unless these programs (Database, & the operating system) are written in I4GL the recompilation using QueriX is not recommended. 3) Our offer of FREE 4GL COMPILER ON LINUX is still on and can help you out to pin-point just those few coding mistakes in your 4GL programs which are giving you a hell of a time and you don't know why.
