Twaddle Graham is right, the instructions in the DBA manual, if followed, will give a fairly good idea. However his figure of multiplying by 2.5 could be a little low. I have found that once allowance is made for temporary tables, reports working storage, etc the figure comes out to nearer 3.5 in a large number of sites. It does depend what you are doing and why?
