I tried to do the same thing to simulate multiple accept keys in input statements. The idea is that I want the user to press a particular key to signal that besides accepting the input, he wants to do something else (perhaps a print...). On key doesn't work becouse it doesnt jump to the relevant after field clauses. I did try ungetc() with no results. I tried something crazy like temporarily forcing the standard input to read from a file, from which the program could read an accept key after a particular key had been detected, but this is clumsy. Any other idea, out there? marco. ........................................................................ tear along dotted line! marco greco mar.greco@agora.stm.it Work Achea Srl tel 39 95 503117 / 447828 Pbx Catania, Italy fax 446558
