Informix data warehousing "breakthrough"

The December 23rd issue of Information Week has a big "Top of the Week" article entitled "Informix Breakthrough- Six financial firms sign deals for data warehousing". They are Fidelity Investments, First Union National Bank, Great Western Financial, Merrill Lynch, State Street Bank & Trust and Visa International. A deal with Fleet Bank is pending. MCI announced a deal with Informix last month and Sears announced plans to build a two terabyte data warehouse with Informix software last June. The Gap is putting in Informix also.
