ISM query on SCO

We are trying to implement this combination with IDS 7.31. When we run the ism_start command we get a message about "incompatible library suffix". We have reported this problem to Informix Tech Support through a VAR but are getting no response. We have made ISM work successfully on HPUX 11.0. Any help would be much appreciated.
