ALTER FRAGMENT ON <tablename> INIT IN <dbspace or fragmentation scheme>;
This can even be done where dbspace is the same dbspace in which the table
already resides and whether the table is fragmented or not.
The other alternatives are:
- UNLOAD, DROP, CREATE, LOAD using using your favorite unload/load method
(dbaccess UNLOAD/LOAD, sqlcmd's sqlunload/sqlreload, my ul utility, whatever.
- Create a new table with the proper extent sizing, copy the data to the new
table, drop the original, rename the new, recreate indexes and constraints.
