This sounds like there is something wrong with the table.
What does oncheck -cDI database:table give for the slow table?
How long does select * from table take?
May want to unload, drop and recreate the table.

Subject: systables doubt
Guys, there?s something really strange with my Database...
Im having performance problems after upgraded to DSA 7.30.
After debugging (onstat -g sql XX) some 4gl programs, we found one table
with 7 rows, that when you run select count (*) from dbaccess on this
table, it takes about 20 seconds...but if i run this command on the
customers table (400.000 rows), it respond imediatly...
the same happens if you ask for the table status from dbaccess...
Is there anything wrong with my systables?
If anybody had such experience, i would apreciate any information.
TIA,
Gustavo Murad
