missing en_us.1252 - installation problem

Informix 7.2, NT4 Workstation, SP3. Installed Informix from the local administrator account, set up the environment variables. The Informix tools seem to work fine, and I am able to create and populate a database. When I log on as any other user (including the Informix user), either locally, or to our network domain, I get the following error when starting the Informix database explorer: Unable to locate the locale or conversion file "en_us.1252". Check the file system to ensure that this file resides in the appropriate gls subdirectory. There is no such file on the computer. I ran informix\\bin\\regcopy from the local administrator account, but that helped nothing. Any help appreciated. Thanks, Jay Silverman jsilverman@excalib.com
