Error -1804 when list of databases should appear

Hi, i'm running Informix SE and ESQL/C products (7.2x) on a Windows 95 machine. When using the dbaccess utility i've one problem with the list of available databases. My databases are located in c:\\informix\\databases, the directory is shared and my local machine has the name daolin. So i set DBPATH to \\\\daolin\\databases. dbaccess shows me an error -1804 when i called "select database" and doesn't show any list of available databases (there should be two). Nevertheless, when i type in the name of the database, i can access it. Only the listing doesn't work. Did i something wrong with DBPATH settings ? Greetings, Joerg
