Wow, is there any comparable book out there now? I could really use that. Do you cover basic system backups too (eg. Solaris 2.6 on Sparc)? Please let me know if you are aware of any similar titles already published and also please send me an email regarding publishing date in case I miss an announcement from you on the newsgroup. Thanks a million. There have been several reports of serious bugs in the archive utility for Informix OnLine 5.x engines particularly on the SCO/Intel platform, even though this product has been in maintenance mode for several years. The last archive bug was reported only a few months ago -- problems just seem to continue to crop up. While it is an obvious point, you can't stress enough the need to keep your engine up-to-date with the latest maintenance release. I believe Informix has released no fewer than 10 maintenance upgrades for the 5.x engine on SCO. Kevin M. Carroll wrote: > > Wow, is there any comparable book out there now? I could really use that.
