Enterprise Replication consulting?

Has anyone had experience with Informix consulting for Enterprise Replication? We are working on an ecommerce website and are hoping to use ER to keep two sites in synch. Unfortunately the ER is proving to be unstable, and we don't know if we can proceed with it. Informix tech support is trying to address the problems, but we're short on time. We'd like to get someone who has had experience setting up ER take a look at our system. Does anyone have an experience to relate, positive or otherwise? We are trying to get ER up and running with 1 IDS server and 18 WGS servers. Informix didn't feel we needed to know that they have a problem with over eight servers until we paid for an Informix consultant to come in at $180 an hour. The consultant told us the fix was 7.31. Which is not available for WGS on NT or at all as far as I know. To date the standing fix is to upgrade the 18 servers to IDS at 5 times the cost of WGS to provide the functionality that WGS should have provided, primary target replication. I currently have no faith that 7.31 would be the fix. We are currently writing an interim solution. I currently have little to no faith that Informix will make this product work, at least on the WGS platform.
