Good morning! I am a new Informix DBA. Only on the job a month now. We are running IDS 7.31.FD7 on Sun Solaris 8. I was given a new project to come up with performance monitoring to create a performance baseline. As I get started with my research here, I am wondering if you have any suggestions or recommendations as to where to get started and any current methods of monitoring performance. I presume the initial stage would be to collect the data with a later stage of having the ability to display the performance data in graphs or charts. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated. Have a great day, Dave In4MixDBA@gmail.com
