ESQL/C

A question...please help! I've been reading an INFORMIX ESQL/C manual...we're getting the actual system in later...but in the meanwhile, I was wondering if the following situation is true or not: If I compile my program with the command: esql -g -o test test.ec then I should be able to run the AIX debugger via command: dbx test Normally to use the AIX debugger, I would run the following commands: cc -g -o test test.c dbx test I guess the main question is: Does esql pass the '-g' option through to the cc compiler?
