Pretty much -- but you do have to recompile all your home-grown software after you've installed Informix with appropriate compiler and linker flags set for 64-bit. Note that the DATE type in ESQL/C was long in 32-bit distributions and is int4 in 64-bit distributions, adjust any source accordingly. Also, if you've used the fglgets.c function from the demo directory, you'll have to use the new one that comes with the 64-bit distribution.
