Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.
It seems JDBC applications can make connections to
the database without a SQLHOST file by specifying
everything in the database URL.
However JDBC manual also mentioned SQLH_TYPE=file
and SQLH_FILE being the SQLHOST file.
What is the format of this SQLHOST file. Is it the standard
format of SQLHOST file. Will the concept of groups work
in this. I don't think there is any other way of making a JDBC
application aware of a group connection in a HDR environment.
Thanks.
