This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.
A newcomer to Informix SE 4.11 on UNIX got "No connect permission" when running dbschema/dbexport against databases stored under /users/gw_ver01/gw/db_gw.dbs. Advice given: pass the database name only (not the full path), set DBPATH to the directory holding the .dbs, and run as the DBA (the user owning the .dbs directory) or as user informix. Since the error persisted, Superboer suggested running strings on sysusers.dat in the .dbs directory to find the original DBA, checking that the .dbs dir/files are owned by that user with group informix, and that $INFORMIXDIR/lib/sqlexec is setuid root. No confirmation of a fix is recorded in the thread.

But because I'm completely new in INFORMIX and UNIX area,
I have some additional problems with this export.
This is short description how it looks in my situation:
1.Informix directory is
/usr/informix
2.Databases are located in
/users/gw_ver01/gw/db_gw.dbs
/users/gw_ver02/db/db_gw.dbs
3.From /usr/Informix/bin I run dbschema
./dbschema -t all -d /users/gw_ver01/gw/db_gw
and I get message:
DBSCHEMA Schema Utility INFORMIX-SQL Version 4.11.UC1
Copyright (C) Informix Software, Inc., 1984-1991
Software Serial Number AAA#E871595
No connect permission.
4.I'm in Informix group but work on my own account
What other permission do I need?

You need to supply the database name not the path to it.

ls -ld /users/gw_ver01/gw/db_gw.dbs
who owns this dir?? that one has created it and is therefor dba
logon as that user or user informix will most likely do as well.
assume DBPATH is set correctly eq
export DBPATH= /users/gw_ver01/gw
command would be
dbschema -d db_gw
thin ice long long time ago since i touched V4
dono if it has dbexport....
i assume you want to export it...
cd /<somedir with space>
dbexport -d db_gw
should do it....

this dir is owns by gw user (and it is informix group),
I run your commands (export ...), I get the same message:
No connect permission.
dbexport is also in /usr/informix/bin dir
YIKES... that means that someone has changed it in the past...
run strings on sysusers.dat which is in your dbs dir
look for the line D ... someuser
where someuser is the original dba.
you may get an afwul lot of problems reparing....
the owner of the dbs dir should be dba!!!
ls -ld <yourdbs>.dbs
drwxrwx--- someuser informix
files under there:
permissions of your files..
660 <someuser who created the db or had also dba or resource
permissions> informix
AND $INFORMIXDIR/lib/sqlexec must have it's suid bits set and owned by
root.
best is to try as user informix..... and hope for the best.
Superboer.
