Use DEFER INTERRUPT in MAIN to prevent the program dying when the user interrupts it. Revise your code to check whether INT_FLAG has been set at salient points -- like just after every INPUT-type statement (CONSTRUCT, PROMPT, INPUT, INPUT ARRAY, DISPLAY ARRAY, etc).
