a problem with connections
We have a problem with remote systems:
We have these products:
INFORMIX-SQL Version 4.12.UE1
INFORMIX-4GL Version 4.10.UC2
and RSAM Version 5.02.UC7
and we have noted this problem, for us is quite important to solve it.
I'll explain:
We have to remote systems, A and B, both with these products.
We have the same database in both systems, called, as example: sucesion
We have a table, with the same schema in both databases, called as
example: pagano
If we are for example in system A:
$isql
and now the select is:
select * from pagano a where a.dni_ci="11111111H"
and not exists (select * from sucesion@dbsstt03:pagano b
where b.dni_ci=a.dni_ci)
and the system run properly.
Now, we try with this other:
select * from sucesion@dbsstt03:pagano a
where a.dni_ci="11111111H"
and not exists (select * from sucesion@dbsstt03:pagano b
where b.dni_ci=a.dni_ci)
and the system also runs well.
But now, with this other
select * from sucesion@dbsstt03:pagano a
where a.dni_ci="11111111H"
and not exists (select * from pagano b
where b.dni_ci=a.dni_ci)
the system respond us with a 'Syntax error'.
Is is possible to have an answer?
