Informix & K-Mart

I remember reading (in an Informix Publication) how Kmart had made a commitment to using Informix with its "state-of-the-art" computer systems about 6-12 months back... I recently read an article (INFORMATIONWEEK 3/13/95 pg 16) which says that 25% of its 1200 IS staffers were just cut. It also says that it announced in Sept it plans on closing 110 stores and cut 750 jobs to slash $800M in costs. Anyone from Informix know whether Kmart actually went thru with the Informix deal as reported, or did the deal fall thru... Just curious...
