Unless something drastic has changed with 4GL version 7.x, you can't use
ODBC in 4GL.
What release of Informix for NT? Having not used Informix on NT much, I'm
assuming A) it is at least 7.x, and B) it comes bundled
with I-STAR.
Ditto SCO. If you have a pre-7.x version, you'll need to install I-STAR
separately.
That said, you need to update your hosts, services and onconfig files on
both servers. Then you just need to reference the remote database from 4gl
as database@remote_hostname_instance.
Be sure to test the connectivity from SCO to NT with dbaccess.
Now, why you would run the engine on NT over the SCO box is beyond me . . .
