Informix first on Linux, not Oracle

In the article http://www.news.com/News/Item/0,4,27836,00.html about Informix launching Dynamic Server and Dynamic 4GL for Linux I saw the next sentence: Informix joins Netscape Communications, Oracle, and Sybase in porting products to Linux. The truth is that Informix launched their SE database server and the E-SQL/C in july 1998, and so Oracle and Sybase are those who "Joined the crowd". It's not the first time when the agressive marketing of the Oracle camed before the higher quality of the Informix products. I don't have many bad things too say about news.com (I get and read their news reports daily) but sometimes they must be more careful about things like this. When many people read that Informix is following Oracle's lead, there is chance that they will even start to believe it. And that would be a very big mistake since Informix (my opinion) has far better products than Oracle.
