Re: Problem with Wingz external functions on PC
Posted in 1993
PERU MICHEL, We use external C-calls from within HyperScript successfully. We too are on PC-box (usinf SCO Unix 3.2). Please provide the following details to make 'investigation' more focussed. 1. The header of C-module #define numfuncs 2 #include "WZTools.h" /* Stored under $WINGZ directory */ extern void InitFunc(PVAL, PVAL), getcurrenv(PVAL, PVAL), UNIX_sleep(PVAL, PVAL), ExitFunc(PVAL, PVAL); /* set up structure */ void (*initfunc)() = InitFunc; ROUT rout = { numfuncs, ExitFunc, { /* C-definition #charCHAR hyperscript-callable-name #Args */ { getcurrenv, "\\007currenv", 1 }, { UNIX_sleep, "\\007unixslp", 1 } } }; 2. The C-procedure itself void getcurrenv(pret, parg) PVAL pret, parg; { } 3. The invocation from within HyperScript Wunifilog=unifiutil:currenv("UNIFILOG") Bharat ======================================================================== Informix-OnLine 4.00.UD5 SCO 3.2 Informix-Isql 4.00 AST 486/33 Informix-Esql/C 4.00 Wingz 1.10 Bharat Shah Voice: (508)-663-7570 Unifi Communications Corp.
