PROJECT LEADER - TX

POSITION: Project Leader LOCATION: San Antonio, Texas DESCRIPTION: Program, document, test, and assist in the implementation of application software. Identify and recommend improvements that would enhance the IS process and/or improve systems support of the business function. Prioritiz e work to ensure resources are allocated to most important tasks. Perform analysis and design of program specifications. Develop work plans to ensure necessary steps are completed. Estimate development efforts and esta blish realistic timelines. Monitor progress and report status on assigned tasks. Deliver assignments on time and on budget. Assist in establishing and enforcing quality standards. Provide technical guidance to less ex perienced staff. Prepare and present performance evaluations or programming staff. REQUIRED: 5 or more years programming experience using Informix 4GL. Experience programming in UNIX environment and in RDBMS environment using SQL. PREFERRED: COBOL programming, experience supporting packaged software such as Computron Financials and/or Cyborg, Client/Server, MS Windows, HP9000, HP-UX, MS Office.
