The questions I have are the following: Is it possible to access more than one database from the same application concurrently?. Is there an additional product from informix that is required?. If so, can views, selections be made using tables from different databases?. If multiple databases cannot be accessed concurrently, does anyone have experience with doing multiple open and closes to databases within the one application and the penalties (if any) associated with this.
