I have a similar problem as I wish to use one ace report against a number of different, although similarly named tables, all in the same database. My solution was to get hexed, a public domain binary file editor, and write a script to patch the .arc, before running it. I'm sure you could do the same to patch the destination. It seems to me there are two other options. 1) Wrap the ace in a perl or shell scripts, to capture stdout and put it wherever you want to. 2) Use isqlperl as an alternative to ace! > > ** Opinions expressed are my own and not necessarily those of my employer > ========================================================================= > Barry Toomey Phone +353-1-2822333 > AT&T Network Systems Ireland Fax +353-1-2822864 > Corke Abbey Avenue, email: bt@irl3b2c.att.comm > Bray, uunet: att!irl3b2c!bt > Co.
