Shared memory ran out

Hi : We have situation where Java user defined rountine (UDR) when being called from a INFORMIX 4GL in a loop, after certain iterations (30000) , INFORMIX Engine CRASHES. When I looked at INFORMIX onstat -g seg, I could see many shared memory being allocated dynamically. Even though java has auto garbage collection, somethings seems to be not right. Any clue will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Rgds
