There may be 2 solutions:
1) split the data-files which you like to load into smaller pieces.
2) Switch off logging. (I do not know how it works for "Online" but in
IUS you can use the following way)
a) use "onmonitor" -> "Logical-Logs" -> "Databases"
where you can select a database (CTRL-B) and switch to "no logging"
via (again) CTRL-B.
b) load the data into the tables
c) Switching back to "buffered logging" is a little more complicated.
IUS wants itself to be level-0-backuped before. When you are dumping
to tape "/dev/null" ;) this might not be a problem: Try "ontape" to see
the possible parameters. "ontape -s -B <database-name>" archives the
full system "-s" by default as level-0-backup and sets buffered logging
"-B" for the specified database. (oh, it might be that the system needs
to be in Quiescent-Mode for archiving&settingLog.)
i hope, i could help you,
Gert.
