Yes, on-archive is a problem child... but, I've managed to work through most of the bugs where it is very stable (I say as I make some minor adjustments to the scripts). There are those who cannot wait for on-bar as our gigs start expanding, my ontape backup takes 9 hours, and users expect the quickest, most flexible recovery possible without allowing me to upgrade. I've submitted my application for presenting the scripts and "gotcha's" for the users group conference. Since it is "alot" of material for various recovery, emergency, and log backup situations... I am waiting to see if it gets accepted. In the meantime, send me an email if you are interested, and I will add interested parties to my list.
