undefined symbol ftime
Posted in 1993
Hi netters, I am having a problem compiling 4GL on an Altos 1000 - a 386 box. I am using Informix 4GL version 4.10.UE2 and Online version 4.10.UG1 and the Altos is running Altos unix version 5.3.1. I try to link a program like "fourglpgm.o" to "fourglpgm.4ge" using the following command: c4gl fourglpgm.o -o fourglpgm.4ge and receive the error: undefined symbol first referenced in file ftime /usr/informix4/lib/libnforms.a I remember that on an IBM AIX box I had to modify the c4gl script to include BSD libraries "-lbsd" but this doesn't work on the Altos. I suspect they might be missing some libraries but the customer says the C compiler was just reinstalled and therefore should include everything. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance. -- Alan Goodman Sr.Programmer/Analyst internet: alan@dssmktg.com bangpath: uunet.uu.net!dssmktg!alan realpath: Data Systems Support 1228 Shelly Ct.
