Informix DBA needed in Central Indiana

Job Description for Brightpoint Informix DataBase Administrator Purpose of this position: ' This position will be responsible for the installation, maintainance and upgrades of the Informix databases, versions 5 and 7, installed on the Sun / Solaris Systems at Brightpoint. ' Secondarily, at times, this position will participate in application and report development and through the use of Informix application development tools such as Informix 4GL, Informix New Era, and some other non-Informix tools such as Visual Basic. Some training of users will be required. Experience Requirements: ' Candidates for this position should have at least 5 years of systems experience primarily in application design and development, having used Informix tools on a client/server platform preferably Sun / Solaris2.x. ' Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience working towards the responsibities of an Informix database administrator, having attended formal Informix DBA training classes.
