I reported this as a bug about six months ago.
Bug: 165499 DBACCESS - LAST PARSED SQL STATEMENT DOES NOT SHOW UP IN
ONSTAT -G SQL OR ONSTAT -G SES
They said it should be fixed in 9.40.UC5
Do call an open a case to make sure they get it coded in this release.

Yes, please log and case and get your case cross referenced against
this bug so R&D can see the impact removing this facility had.
The fix is included in 9.40.UC5

Works fine on 9.40.UC3 on Solaris 7
