onbar backup exited 151
Hi All,
I have a Secondary server (configured as failover thru HDR). I configured the
backup using onbar, however, i am getting error: please see below:
2009-09-30 21:29:32 1239 1237 /home/informix/bin/onbar_d -b -L 0
2009-09-30 21:29:32 1239 1237 Unable to open connection to database server:
Recovery Mode.
2009-09-30 21:29:32 1239 1237 /home/informix/bin/onbar_d complete, returning

2009-09-30 21:35:25 3008 3006 /home/informix/bin/onbar_d -b -L 0
2009-09-30 21:35:25 3008 3006 Unable to open connection to database server:
Recovery Mode.

Hi,
you cannot do a backup on the secondary server.
You have to do it on the primary server instead.
In one of the next releases (though currently I'm
not 100% sure in which one), this restriction should
be lifted. But currently it is still there. Sorry.

Thanks Martin, You are right... Secondary Server can't be backup... Upon reading most all informix forums and your confirmation. Regards.
